November 1, 2023: First day you’re able to request your 2024 Presidential Preference Card online or via mail

January 12, 2024: Presidential Preference Cards will begin being mailed to voters

January 15, 2024: In-person precinct caucuses will be held, unbound county convention delegates will be elected

February 19, 2024: Last day to request your Presidential Preference Card

March 5, 2024: The Iowa Democratic Party will release our preliminary results of the mail-in presidential preference cards. Iowa Democrats will accept presidential preference cards postmarked on or before March 5, 2024.

County Conventions will take place on March 23, 2024.

District Conventions will take place on May 4, 2024.

The Iowa Democratic State Convention will take place on June 15, 2024.
